My home studio is in a meadow surrounded by woods. It is not a tidy woods, but a typical Northern forested terrain traversed by natural springs, bog, logging roads and deer trails. There is a mix of hardwoods; oak, maple, beech, birch and yellow birch, and softwoods; pine, spruce, tamarack, willow, poplar. A riot of color in the Autumn intensifies as the nights get colder.
