This painting depicts the town beach here in Northport. It is a working waterfront and so more fishermen going to and from their boats than people sunbathing. I enjoy bringing my dog here for a run on the beach and a swim. The seagulls she loves to chase but never catches wait for us to leave on the other side of the cove.
